About me
Olaolu Oyeyipo is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience spanning banking, financial advisory, and business development. He has a strong track record in driving growth, managing financial risk, and executing high-value transactions across multiple sectors.
He holds a B.Sc. from the University of Ilorin and an MBA from the Business School Netherlands, providing a solid foundation in strategic management and operational leadership. He began his career in corporate banking within leading Pan-African financial institutions, where he developed extensive experience in structuring and managing complex financial transactions.
Throughout his career, Olaolu has consistently demonstrated strong execution capabilities. He successfully led the turnaround of a loss-making branch at Access Bank within two months, restoring it to profitability. His experience in transaction banking includes managing major distributions for industry-leading companies, while his corporate banking exposure includes closing significant deals, such as the $285 million sale of a Nigerian brand to a global company, attracting foreign direct investment into Nigeria.
His transition into Treasury further strengthened his expertise in financial markets, including Fixed Income, Currency, and Commodity (FICC) products, enhancing his ability to manage capital efficiently and support large-scale transactions.
At Orchidbay Developments Limited, Olaolu brings his extensive experience in project structuring, financial planning, and execution oversight to drive the Company’s development initiatives.
