Itunu Lawrence is an experienced legal practitioner with over two decades of post-call experience in corporate law, governance, and regulatory advisory. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, having been called to the Nigerian Bar after graduating from the Nigerian Law School with Honours.
Her professional experience spans both in-house and private legal practice. During her tenure in the banking sector, she managed the Bank’s property portfolio, including landed assets and securities, while providing legal advisory support across Corporate Banking, Capital Markets, and key industry sectors such as Oil & Gas and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG). She also played a critical role in legal documentation and transaction structuring for syndicated arrangements.
Itunu is currently a Managing Partner in a law practice with expertise in Corporate Governance and Compliance, Capital Market Operations, Commercial Law, Global Expansion, Financial Technology, and Intellectual Property.
Throughout her career, she has advised on complex transactions including mergers and acquisitions, regulatory licensing, and cross-border business expansion. Her experience in managing property-related legal matters, asset documentation, and compliance frameworks positions her strongly in supporting real estate development initiatives.
At Orchidbay Developments Limited, she provides legal oversight and corporate governance support, ensuring that all development projects are executed within the appropriate legal, regulatory, and compliance frameworks, while safeguarding the Company’s interests across all transactions.
